Job description
As community and content coordinator, you’ll help shape our online presence and share the stories behind our games. You’ll work closely with our community manager — who’s transitioning into a production role — and our development teams to create, schedule, and manage content across social platforms and communities.
This is an evolving role with room to grow into a management position for the right candidate.
This is a part-time or full-time remote position. Candidates must be able to overlap with Norwegian working hours for at least 4–6 hours per day.
Responsibilities
Plan, create, and manage content across our social media channels — including text, video, and images.
Collaborate with the development team to produce visual assets, short-form videos, game streams, newsletters, Steam updates, and blog posts that bring our worlds and characters to life.
Represent Red Thread Games, our values, and our projects in all online interactions — and occasionally at events, conferences, and trade shows.
Monitor and moderate community channels, engage with players, and help foster a positive, inclusive community.
Identify and connect with influencers, creators, and partners who align with our values and our games.
Track and analyse social media performance to inform future strategies.
Support the dev team by collecting community insights and feedback.
Qualifications
Proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools.
Experience working with gaming communities.
Strong communication and content creation skills — including writing, editing, video, streaming, and image production.
Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
Creative, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in narrative-driven games. (Bonus points if you’ve played ours!)
Prior experience in social media management or content creation, or proven success managing a personal brand or channel in the gaming or creative industries.
A relevant degree, portfolio, or professional references are a plus.
