Last November, in our first official newsletter, we promised to publish another one “soon”.

Ten months count as “soon”, right? Right??

Okay, so we’ve been busy. A lot has happened at Red Thread HQ, and according to the survey we sent out last time, most of you actually want to hear from us.

So let’s get into it!

First of all, we’re heading to Tokyo Game Show next week, and we’re bringing a bit of Sunshine with us!

In case you missed it, we announced our upcoming survival mystery game Hello Sunshine back in March, and next weekend at TGS players will be able to go hands-on with the game for the very first time. We’ll share photos and videos from the event, so please make sure to follow our “socials” — you can find links here — to stay updated.

We’re thrilled to be returning to Tokyo…and who knows, maybe we’ll see some of you there!? But no worries, if Japan isn’t in your travel plans, there’s plenty more Hello Sunshine news on the horizon.

Dustborn keeps getting better (and better and)

Since launch, we’ve updated Dustborn on a regular basis, adding new (FREE) content, fixing bugs, adding accessibility options and improving the gameplay experience. Earlier this summer we dropped our biggest content update yet. If you haven’t played the game in a while, or you’ve been waiting for the right time to get started, now’s that time.

Dustborn is also finally available on macOS, with native support for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. You can buy the Mac version on Steam or the Mac App Store. And if you already own the PC version on Steam, the Mac version is FREE!

We have a Discord now!!

Last, definitely not least: we’ve relaunched our Discord server.

If you’ve been longing for an active, friendly, diverse and inclusive community of Red Thread Gamers, you can now fill that gaping hole in your life. There are over 1600 members, but we’re still missing YOU (probably).

Not only is the Discord a great way to connect with other players and our developers, it’s also the best way to stay in the loop about new games, giveaways, and other surprises — like live Q&As.
